About Recito

Recito is made by Vadym Suprun, an independent software engineer.

The person behind it

In his own words: “I build software that matters — from AI-powered tools to full-stack products shipped at scale. Father and lifelong learner driven by a simple belief: that the work we do every day can influence the people around us, inspire the next generation, and make a lasting impact on the world.”

How Recito is built

Everything runs on your device

There is no account, no server and no analytics. Your scripts and your video never leave the device unless you save or share them yourself. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”, and the app works with no network at all.

One purchase, not a subscription

Recito is free to download with a single one-time unlock that covers iPhone, iPad and Mac. There is no recurring charge and no tier that expires.

Updated openly

Every release is listed on the release notes page, including the things that were removed or held back — not only the additions.

Getting in touch

Questions, bugs and requests go to support@suprun.ca, and they are answered by the person who wrote the app. The support page covers the common ones.
